Service Learning

The Service Learning Program at Salpointe is part of our holistic approach to education and reflects an important element of the Carmelite charism. As we pray and come together to build community, we are called to follow the example of service provided by Jesus.

Community Service Program

As part of the mission of Salpointe Catholic to inspire a life of leadership and service to others, all students are expected to complete annual community service hours. Community service broadens students’ perspectives, requiring them to go places and do things outside of their normal daily life. More importantly, community service requires empathy, reflection, leadership and critical thinking skills. Students are required to complete ten (10) hours of community service each year.

“We were truly amazed at the teamwork and respect the students showed! They are so kind and respectful. I know from experience that Salpointe is making a huge difference in these young people’s lives. I see firsthand that Salpointe is developing a whole person academically, athletically and spiritually.”
