Hoopcoming
Hoopcoming is February 3-8! Here is everything you need to know about spirit week and the dance.
Theme Days:
Monday (2/3) – Paris Hilton vs. Adam Sandler Day

Wednesday (2/5) – Baguette Buddies Day (twin day)

Here are the details for the dance
What: Winter Formal! An elegant night of music, dancing, and making memories with your friends.
When: Saturday, February 8 from 8-11:00 p.m.
  • Doors Open at 8:00 p.m.
  • No entry after 9:00 p.m.
Where: The Kalil Family Gym and Alumni Hall
Who: Everyone in the student body is welcome! If you would like to bring someone from another school, a guest form is required. Click →HERE← to find the Guest Form. Only one guest per person.
Dress code: Click →HERE← to see the dress code for the dance. Your attire WILL be checked at the door.

Tickets: Tickets are sold both online and at the door. Online tickets are $25, and tickets sold at the door will be $30. Click→HERE←to purchase your tickets online. Online ticket sales will close at 10 p.m. on Friday, February 7.

**We will have a game room and snack bar in Alumni Hall. Sodas, chips, cookies and candy will be sold. CASH ONLY.**

Spring College Fair – March 1
RMACAC College Fair connects you with colleges and universities in one convenient location. The spring College Fair will take place on March 1, 2025 from 9-11:30 a.m. at Salpointe Catholic High School. View the list of over 80 participating universities. Students and families can register now for this free event.

Lady Lancer Brunch & Blessing Raffle Donations
The Lady Lancer Brunch and Blessing Committee is seeking donations for our beautiful raffle baskets. Please complete our Donation Form and bring it with the item(s) to the Advancement Office Room 606 anytime before or on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. St. Thomas Pursuing Something Greater
St. Thomas is excited to welcome Eve Rosemary Heuvel, an inspiring speaker and founder of the Everyday Saint Podcast, this Sunday, February 2. Eve will be speaking to high school teens about discovering authentic love in their lives. Join them for pizza at 6:00 p.m. in the new parish game room, followed by the presentation at 6:30 p.m.

Be sure to track your college applications and decisions in Scoir, as this is how we monitor your progress. Please list the colleges you’ve applied to and update your decision in Scoir. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Mrs. McCall.

College Counseling for Juniors
Juniors are encouraged to take the SAT and/or the ACT this spring or summer. Attached in our SAT & ACT info document are upcoming dates and how to register for/prepare to take the standardized tests. We encourage Juniors and parents to review all of the college counseling resources available in your Counseling Google Classroom.

Fine Arts

South-Central Regional Honor Choir
Congratulations to Isaac Ahumada Fuentes, Neviya Mendez, Rene Mazon and Claudia Niragira! These amazing students auditioned for and were selected for the South-Central Regional Honor Choir Festival.
This festival concludes with a concert featuring selected students from the South-Central region of Arizona. The concert starts at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 15 at Sahuarita High School. Tickets are $5.
Consider coming to support these amazing students and congratulate them on their achievement!
Troupe 5370 Dazzles at Competition
Our Lancer Thespians truly shined at the Southern Arizona Festival of Theater at the University of Arizona, bringing home an outstanding 29 superior awards! Troupe 5370 swept the competition with eight awards in Acting, eleven in Musical Theater, four in Musical Dance and six in Technical Theater. We’re also incredibly proud of Tyler Garlej ’23, who helped run the event and supported Southern Arizona theater as part of the Arizona Board. Troupe 5370’s talent, dedication, and passion made us all proud.
New Stevens Gallery Exhibit
The Stevens Gallery presents “People and Places: Artistic Perspectives of the Figure and our Time in Place”. Join us for a reception with the artist on February 1 from 6-8 p.m. The gallery will also be open on February 8 from 12-4 p.m. Additional viewing hours will be on March 8 and April 12, also from 12-4 p.m. Featured in the exhibition are works by a diverse group of regional and local artists: Michael Chittock, Betina Fink, Valerie Galloway, Patricia Katchur and Gary Mackender. The gallery entrance is located on Copper Street.

Spring Athletic Commitment Ceremony
Salpointe held the 2025 Lancer Spring Athletic Commitment Ceremony, honoring 21 Lancers who will continue their athletic careers in college.
