Salpointe Weekly Peek – August 9, 2024

General Announcements

Safe Driving
📢 Attention All Students! 📢
We know how exciting it can be to get to school and start your day, but let’s talk about something super important—speeding. 🚗💨
Every day, students across our community are hurrying to get to school, and sometimes that means speeding. However, speeding can lead to dangerous situations, not only for you but for everyone around you.
What can you do?
Plan Ahead: Leave a little earlier to avoid the rush.
Follow Speed Limits: Stick to the posted speed limits in school zones and residential areas.
Be Mindful: Watch out for students and our neighbors crossing the streets.
Remember, arriving safely is the best way to start your school day. Let’s all do our part to make our community a safer place. Drive carefully, and see you at school!

Tutoring Time/Days: 3:00-4:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday
Weekly Schedule (Tentative):

Weekly Prayer

Deacon Scott Pickett

“O my God, fill my soul with holy joy, courage and strength to serve You. Enkindle Your love in me and then walk with me along the next stretch of road before me. I do not see very far ahead, but when I have arrived where the horizon now closes down, a new prospect will open before me and I shall meet with peace.” ~ St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein), Carmelite Sister, whose Memorial Feast Day we celebrate today.
