Salpointe’s arts offer multiple ways to shine!

Performance opportunities abound with school plays, choral concerts, dance recitals, band concerts and art gallery displays on campus, as well as community performances and art presentations.

Fine and performing arts students are celebrated with local and national awards each year such as the Jimmy Awards in New York City, Southern Arizona Arts Guild, UA Band Day, national dance competitions and NAU Jazz Madrigal Festival.

Whether students are taking their first drama class, interested in set/lighting/sound/costume design or are experienced thespians, Salpointe has a class and a program for anyone who’s ever wanted to be on stage or work behind the scenes.

Technical theater reaches new heights!

Students who like to stay behind the scenes find exciting work with set construction, lighting and sound technology, stage management, production organization and theater architecture.

The Stevens Gallery is home to student and community art.

Salpointe hosts four to six gallery shows each year, including student displays and community shows that students study and help curate, in partnership with organizations such as Southern Arizona Arts Guild.
