Salpointe is committed to student success. We offer free tutoring, 504 plan services, peer mentoring and the Lancer Success Plan. Class counselors are ready to help students navigate challenges and meet their academic goals.

Tutoring

Free tutoring is offered Monday through Thursday, 3:00-4:15 pm
Weekly Schedule (tentative):
Monday – English, physics, math
Tuesday – English, environmental science/anatomy and physiology, math and Spanish
Wednesday – English, biology, chemistry and math
Thursday – English, math and biology

Students should report to the hallway between rooms 408 and 411 to receive tutoring services. Student attendance at tutoring can be viewed by parents through myPointe. Any changes to this schedule will be announced during the daily announcements. Please contact Sarah Welchert with questions.

Learning Lab

Salpointe’s Learning Lab offers services and accommodations for student on 504 plans. Please contact Brenda Griffin with questions.

Peer Mentoring

The Peer Mentoring Program matches up struggling students with peers who can provide assistance and guidance. Please contact Mike Urbanski with questions.

Lancer Success Plan

Lancer Success Plans are used to help students who are at risk of failing. The program includes mandatory after-school tutoring, teacher meetings, working with a peer mentor or tutor and class counselor meetings. Please contact Mike Urbanski with questions.
